Even back-to-back champions have needs when it comes to the draft. The Kansas City Chiefs ' list of needs is longer than they would like. Obviously, they need a wide receiver and a few other positions like offensive tackle. Luckily for them, they can address them all in the draft.
On Friday, the Chiefs general manager Brett Veach spoke to the media to kind of break down some of his thoughts on the draft, as he does a week prior every year. This year, he isn't as high on this draft, being deep at offensive tackle, as maybe everyone else is.
Sure, it's deep, but he tends to think it's more top-heavy and that many of the tackles can go early on days one and two. And he is kind of right, but that doesn't mean the Chiefs aren't looking for talent at the position to take late on day three or even as undrafted free agents. They are always looking for an advantage.
The Chiefs have had a top-30 visit with Penn State offensive tackle Caedan Wallace, who is one of the more athletic tackles in this draft. He has also had visits with the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington Commanders.
Penn State OT Caedan Wallace is being underrated on here.

3-yr starting RT ran a 5.15 w/ 1.74 10-yd split. Leaped an outstanding 9-8 Broad.

Wallace scored an 8.20 out of 10 on the RAS, or Relative Athletic Score, which is insanely good. He also ran a 5.15 with a 1.74 10-yard split. The Chiefs are obviously interested and intrigued, and it's safe to say this freak athlete could be a good project for them, as they have developed some good talent.
